A New Year

New year’s weekend is a hard time for me. I’m carrying a heavy heart while remembering a very close friend, who was taken from us three years ago today, and welcoming in another year without her in my life. This is one of my favorite photos from a trip we took together years ago. Two sets of twins living it up in our college days.
Trying to stay on the bright side of things, I have a nice four-day weekend with no traveling or major plans to keep up with. So I’ll be spending my time keeping busy with some fun projects around the house, and hopefully will be back tomorrow to share at least the start of those with you.
I hope you all have a fantastic New Year. See you in 2012.
