Dear Santa, it was so nice to meet you.

On Saturday we took the beastlet to visit Santa Claus for the first time ever! I have to say, she must have somehow known the whole good behavior = presents deal, because despite waiting in line for over an hour, V was amazingly well-behaved. I’m sure Santa was impressed.

She didn’t seem scared or nervous at all. She just plopped right down on his lap and gave him the once-over. I think she was in awe of his beard. I’m telling you, this was the real-deal Saint Nick.

He even brought along one of his reindeer for the kids to meet too.

I can’t even tell you how excited I was for this day. Which the hub must have sensed because he didn’t even complain once the whole time. (Did I mention we stood in line for over an hour? I was kinda more nervous about Brett acting up than Vera. Lol. The real Santa has a lot of fans and can’t be rushed.)

It was a great day and I’m so happy we got to take her and didn’t skip out on the tradition just because it was a little wait. Now it really feels like Christmas!!
