I’ve opened up shop!

UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed. Click here to see who won!

Etsy shop that is. Oh the excitement! This is a post I’ve been waiting to write for a long time, but I’m proud to say, I’ve finally officially opened my very own Etsy shop! Woo hoo! You can see it by clicking on that ‘Shop!’ link at the top of the page (forgive me, I’m still working on the styling of that new page a bit), or by visiting me at

As the photo above would indicate, the shop is called Again Today, a tip of the hat to my favorite musician, but also a comment on how influential design is in my everyday life.

I have been wanting to do this and working on it on and off for a long time. I first talked about it on the blog well over a year ago in in one of my ‘random’ posts here (hilariously enough, in that post I also mention this ‘brand new thing’ called Pinterest!).

So why has it taken so long to open up shop? Well, I initially had hoped to launch with a much wider scope of projects and items for sale. Being that there is only 24 hours in a day, however, I haven’t had the time I really wanted to get everything lined up, but have had some things ready to go for a while now. There comes a point when you have to stop waiting for everything to be perfect, stop obsessing over getting every duck in the row, and just roll with what you’ve got. So I’ll be adding more products as I have time to get them perfected and ready to go.

Even though this is the first I’ve mentioned it here, I actually had a bit of a soft launch a couple of weeks ago, when I started listing my camouflage wedding invitation designs due to an unexpected number of requests for quotes on similar invites. Apparently (surprisingly??) there are a lot of people out there who want camo invitations and not that many options that aren’t, well,  awful. Haha.

That listing was followed by my Bitchin’ Kitchen posters, since I had such a nice response after creating this one for my own kitchen, and then a series of baby name posters in a variety of colors based on the one I created for Vera’s nursery (another boy option will be the next item added if you’re wondering).

Like I said, I plan to add new work over time so check back! In the meantime, to celebrate my launch…

I’m giving away a Bitchin’ Kitchen poster for free to one of my very kind readers!

The poster is an 11×14 print that will fit in any standard size 11×14 frame (found at Target, Walmart, etc.). It is professionally printed on beautiful high quality heavy-weight felt-texture paper that took me ages to pick out and get in but was well worth it! The winner will get their choice of print in red, green or aqua.

To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling me which color you would pick if you win. Easy peasy. Tell your friends. :)

So that’s it! Giveaway will end next Friday at 5:00 pm (Central Standard Time) and I’ll randomly select a winner from the total number of comments using Have at it and good luck!

And thank you for reading.

congratulations Dawn!!! I’m beyond thrilled for you and wish you nothing but the best! I LOVE all of your work! If I could pick on bitchin’ kitchen print… I’d LOVE the teal! It’s so gorgeous! I think that should seriously be my kitchen motto!

  • StephanieC

I would pick the red, but my husband hates that color. So I will have to go with the green! I love that it’s more of an olive-ish green than a full on green color :) Yay for your shop, I’m going to go to it now and bookmark it!
