Outfit of the Day: 32 weeks

Once again, a little behind, as these photos are from week 32 and I’m almost at 37 now (what!?!) but I thought they were worth sharing anyway. I really liked this simple combo. It was comfortable and I felt like it was flattering to the bump in that ’round’ way, even though only the pants here were technically maternity. You know, that round way, where people tell you it looks like you just stuffed a basketball under your shirt and you almost believe them? As opposed to just feeling like you’re huge everywhere. Well this outfit was what all pregnant women want. Comfy and round.
Vera likes to tell me her tummy is getting big too. She is getting so excited for her baby sister to be here! As we all are. :) Although it’s dawned on me recently how much I still have to do to get ready. I feel like I was totally prepared and just waiting by this point with Vera. Although that is probably selective memory at work.
While I love the fitted, yet casual look of this sweater, and how it really does emphasize the round, I have to confess I’m to the point of looking forward to dressing in my normal clothes again soon. Especially in this summer heat. I can’t wait to just be able to pull out an outfit without trying to gauge if it will actually cover me or not. :) Once again, eternally grateful for the lax dress code at my office that lets me get away with wearing clothes I actually feel comfortable in. It’s easy to take for granted, but these last few weeks I’m even more thankful than usual for that small luxury in my life!
Hope you’re having a great day!
