As promised, a few more recent pregnancy fashion posts are in the works. Also as promised, I am now getting fairly large. As of today, I’m officially 34 weeks along, so these pics at 31 weeks are still a little old, but quite a change from the previous post’s photos.
This is pretty much a typical daily work outfit for me. My office has no real dress code (thank heavens!) and I’m in jeans a lot. Which is nice when you’re prego and can avoid buying dressy maternity pants that you’ll only wear for a few months. At least with jeans I can wear them every day and on the weekends too. Who am I kidding? Weekends are for sweatpants. Everyone knows that.
But weekend sloppiness aside, this is a variation of what I wear to work most days. Simple and comfortable. I have a huge crush on basic tank tops from Gap and Old Navy, btw. Both stores have great basic tanks, and I wear them almost every day, pregs or not. I have them in a whole menagerie of colors that barely fit in my closet as it is… yet I still keep buying more. They’re just so versatile! They stretch to cover my growing bump and I can layer them with sweaters or under thinner shirts for more length or warmth. Love.
So that’s me daily. Basic tank, jeans, and some random shirt and shoes thrown in- and yeah, usually a messy looking ponytail, weekend or not. Exciting stuff, I know!
