Hi Dawn, I love your countertops and I know this post was a while ago, but if you’re still answering questions I’m wondering what you used to smooth on the paint and the envirotex. Did you use a foam roller like the other blogger you referred to? I’ve only used those once on baseboards and they seemed to leave a lot of bubbles. But regular rollers would be too textured maybe? What do you recommend? Have you touched up the backsplash or left it as is? Thank you so much! I’m so excited to try this in my bathroom.

Hi Deanna! I used a foam roller to do the base coat of paint, but that was it. For the envirotex, I just used a foam brush to spread it around. It is pretty much self leveling, so you just have to make sure it’s covering the whole surface and can really use anything to spread it on. I chose foam brushes because they are cheap and I could just toss them when I was done for easy clean up. Hope that helps! Oh and I left the backsplashes. They do still have some streaky texture if you’re looking hard, but it has never bothered me. :)
