CanvasPop Review and Giveaway!

Hey guys! Well it’s that time of year again when I start thinking of holiday cards, and that means taking some new family photos. This year was particularly special, because we are a family of four now! Technically we were last year too, but in typical new-mom-brain fashion, I made ordered and received X-mas cards, and then never actually mailed them to anyone. I know… the shame.

So this year will be Juniper’s first big X-mas card debut. On top of that, we literally have NO family photos or photos of the girls together anywhere in the house. Since June is over a year old now, it was getting pretty bad. I’ll get to that solution in a minute, but first, the photos. We just took the camera out to a nice trail area and had my sister snap a few quick shots for us. Can I just say that getting two kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time is nearly impossible. You pro photographers out there are saints. Most of the photos ended up looking like this:

Ha! Hopefully we can find at least one good one of the four of us to use for Christmas cards this year. Stay tuned. :/ As for that issue I mentioned above… you know, having no photos of the youngest member of the family anywhere in the house… my new friends at CanvasPop stepped in at just the right moment with the perfect solution for me.

CanvasPop is an online printing company with a huge passion for quality art, photography and home decor.

Some really awesome things about CanvasPop: They offer free digital proofs so you can see exactly what you’re getting. They also provide your own personal designer to give you advice and help get your order perfect, and they have world-class customer support by people who really care — who can be reached by chat, email or phone. The prints are high quality and at a great price, and (get this!) come with all hanging hardware installed, using high quality piano wire, rubber bumpers to protect your wall. There is a lifetime, no hassle guarantee, so you know you’ll absolutely love your order or they’ll reprint it or you get your money back. Plus, talented photo experts lovingly adjust the contrast and colors and even remove red-eye in your photos at no extra cost to make sure your images look perfect. The order process is super easy too: any resolution image, any format, any size, including Instagram and Facebook photo printing. Did I mention that they not only print photos, but posters, photo collages… virtually any image you send them. As a graphic designer, I have to say I LOVE that, and am already thinking of trying them out on some of my posters.

That’s a lot to love actually, and you really can’t go wrong.

The process to get my print was so easy. I sent them this photo of the girls:

And they sent me back a beautifully matted and framed 16×20 print. Guys, I’m a design snob geek, and I can say with all honesty that the quality of this print is fantastic. The process was super simple and the print arrived quickly. I could not be more pleased.

So here’s the really exciting part: If you’re in a similar situation (tell me I’m not the only one who’s most recent family photos are conspicuously missing a member of the family) or just need some new photos or artwork to adorn your walls (remember they print more than just photos), you can get in on the action too! The kind folks at CanvasPop have generously offered up a giveaway for one lucky Designing Dawn reader!
