New Year

Today is New Year’s Eve and I’ve spent the day home with the family, enjoying the extra time together. Honestly, it’s a bittersweet day for me. It’s a time of celebration, but four years ago today, one of my best friends was killed in a car accident. This year, I’m sad to say we’re also mourning the loss of my grandmother this past week. It wasn’t an unexpected passing, but it’s a time to be with family and remember her life.

Because of this, I’m not sure I’ll be here on schedule this week. So I hope you’ll understand and bear with me as I spend some time with my mother and family.

Happy new year friends. Celebrate another year with the people you love, and to let the people in your life know how happy you are to share another year with them. It’s truly a blessing.
