Outfit of the Day: Booooots!

It’s inevitable that as soon as the weather starts to turns even mildly cold, I break out the boots. I also get an urge to shop around for new ones! (Last year’s score here.)

This year, I was on the hunt for a fun pair of black boots, and I wanted some that were flat for everyday wear. I found these Pink & Pepper boots at DSW and fell in love. They were black, flat, tall and fun. Plus they didn’t break the bank. Everything I was looking for and more.

I love the southwestern pattern up the back and the buckle detail on the sides. They’re super comfortable too, which is a major plus since I’m still not quite back to 100% after my recent foot surgery.

I’ve been wearing them as much as possible. This particular day I paired them with black skinnys and a neutral striped sweater. I actually really love this outfit. Simple and cozy, but a little fun too.

So there it is. My boot purchase for the year. Haha, maybe next year I’ll be able to hold off. I know the hub would love it if I could break the boot buying habit… We’ll see.
