Outfit of the Day: Classic

This outfit is from a few weeks ago when the Cox Classic golf tournament was in town. Brett got a couple of tickets to the Grey Goose skybox and we had a fun afternoon date while the beastlet played with the neighbor kids. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather, and I chose to go casual with shorts and sandals. I snazzed it up though, with this Luna wrap bracelet borrowed from Laura. (You remember her- my Stella & Dot stylist. BTW- my trunk show shopping link is still open, if you’re in the mood for something new and sparkly.) I love this one, because I think the wrap look is great. But it’s long enough to wear as a necklace too. So two for the price of one.

This shirt was one of my purchases from our girls trip to Denver this summer. I’m a little smitten for mint this season, and I kind of love it paired with my olive green shorts. I also threw in a simple cream scarf picked up at Kohl’s for a little more texture and to get that layered look.

It was fun to get out of the house without hauling a diaper bag for a change, and to just relax with the hub. I’m not exactly a golf fan, but the atmosphere was fun and there was free food and drinks. Can’t complain about that.
